Welcome to Anyword, where finding your brand's voice doesn't have to feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. It's more like looking for the perfect emoji to sum up your mood—essential and somewhat fun. As a copywriter your brand's voice is front of mind! It's what sets you apart from the mundane and propels you into the hearts and minds of your audience. Here are your first steps towards generating copy that sounds like you.
1. First and foremost, define your tone of voice. No one knows your voice as well as you do- now teach Anyword to write like you so that every piece of copy you and your team produce sounds consistent with your brand.
(see video: How To Create Your Custom Tone of Voice)
Note, as an admin of your team/workspace, you can set default Tones of Voice for different templates. You may prefer to write with a different tone for your emails vs. social posts- set defaults!
(see video: How To Set Default Tones of Voice)
2. Create personas for your different target audiences. Anyword needs to know who you are trying to engage. Marketing to an intern should not sound the same as marketing to a CEO. Make those distinctions.
(see video: Maximizing Engagement via Custom Target Audiences)
3. Next, connect resources that you will be referencing in your copy. Giving Anyword specific information on your company, products, and services, allows it to write with credibility. These resources will be continuously changing as you alter the material of your copy, so get familiar with the messaging bank and pdf ingestion.
(see video: How To Create Effective Messaging Bank Assets)
4. All this setup makes no difference until you actually use your brand voice! Depending on the template you use, there will be fields for tone of voice and target audience, and you will always be able to pull resources into your prompt. DO ALL OF THESE THINGS.

For example:
Imagine writing a formal (Tone of Voice) email to a brand strategist (Target Audience) about our platform by pulling information from Anyword’s Elevator pitch (Messaging Bank Asset)... considering each of these aspects in addition to specific phrases (talking points) and structure (formula) is going to help you generate copy that is in line with your brand and will resonate with your specific audience.
