Translate your content

The Translate functionality (currently in beta) allows you to instantly translate research-based or analytical long-form content — such as white papers and reports — into other languages while preserving structure, tone, and key insights.

At this stage, the feature is available only within the Long-Form Content Improver, when you select the content type White paper / research report in within the content selector.

Step 1: Select White paper / research report

In the Long-Form Content Improver, choose White paper / research report from the content selector.

You can either:

  • Paste your content — including sections, charts, and visuals — directly into the input field, or

  • Import a .docx or .pdf file, and Anyword will automatically extract the text content for processing.

If your document contains visual elements:

  • Charts or infographics → automatically converted into textual descriptions of the chart content for improved readability and translation accuracy.

  • Images (non-charts) → automatically ignored.

Step 2: Translate Your Content

Once your document is analyzed, in Step 3 click on Translate option, then select a language.

After you select your desired language, click Generate — Anyword will produce a fully translated version of your document while keeping its structure and tone intact.

Output and Editor Behavior

After generation:

  • The translated version will appear below the original variation in the Editor, allowing you to review both versions side by side while maintaining the document’s original structure.

  • Chart descriptions extracted in Step 1 appear as individual sections in the editor, ensuring they remain properly contextualized in the translated version.

  • The translated version is marked with a “Translated” chip for easy identification.

Best Practices

  • Ensure your input text is cleanly formatted before translation (avoid broken tables or embedded text in images).

  • If your original document includes numeric or chart data, verify these details in the translated output for contextual accuracy.
